SEOUL, South Korea (AP)-North Korea television has aired footage of leader Kim Jong Il and son watch live-fire exercises.
Footage broadcast on State television Monday showed Kim and his successor Kim Jong Un watch tanks, aircraft, war ships and missile launchers that shoot at targets in the mountains. Dozens of troops were seen parachuting from the plane.
The two Kims is seen speaking to each other when they see the exercise of the standing point of view covered with senior military officers.
Drill involving the army, Navy and air force of power comes as tensions between North and South Korea remained high.
State television said the exercise took place in September. North Korea on media reports Kim routinely delayed.
